Lexolo is being photographed for the book ‘Pak Aan!’ by photographer Peter Vroon and author Reinier Groenendijk. The idea of the book is that well-known people from the town of Apeldoorn are being pictured as their ‘alter ego’, the person they’d like to be for a while. Lexolo was asked, and of course he’d wanted to be photographed like his hero Frank Zappa … watch the pictures below.

I made some crappy shots from the book, so this is not the official picture. Go see the exhibition of all the pictures in ‘Coda’, Apeldoorn and you’ll be stunned. And if you’re wondering who supplied the rubber chicken …

Ik kijk in het gezicht van een jonge vrouw. Ze draagt een zwarte broek en een zwarte blouse met het logo van ‘De Konink’ erop. Haar lange blonde haar hangt tot halverwege haar rug. Bovenop haar hoofd houdt een speld de lokken uit haar gezicht. Haar ogen stralen en haar mond lacht. Ze mag er zijn. Ze is er ook. En dan is ze weer weg, druk bezig met onze bestelling.
